The breathtaking new thriller from the author of Hades. 'I fool myself that Eden has a heart – that she would at least have trouble killing me...' Most police duos run on trust, loyalty, and the desire to see killers in court. But Detective Frank Bennett's partner, the enigmatic Eden Archer, has nothing to offer him but darkness and danger. She doesn't mind catching killers – but it's not the courthouse where her justice is served. And now Eden is about to head undercover to find three missing girls. The only link between the victims is a remote farm where the desperate go to hide and blood falls more often than rain. For Frank, the priority is to keep his partner monitored 24/7 while she's there – but is it for Eden's protection, or to protect their suspects from her? Across the city at the Utulla Tip, someone is watching Hades Archer, a man whose criminal reputation is the stuff of legend. Unmasking the stalker for him might be just what Frank needs to stay out of trouble while Eden's away. But it's going to take a trip into Hades's past to discover the answers - and what Frank uncovers may well put everyone in danger . . .

Hey everyone, its Sarah and I'm back with another book review. Today's review is on Eden by Candice Fox.

Eden is a crime novel that follows the story of Detective Frank Bennett would is stuck in a chain of self destruction after he lost his girlfriend, was badly injured and now spends his days getting drunk and popping pills. However, his partner, Eden Archer, and a new case bring him back in to reality. Eden goes undercover to find a missing girl and things heat up. While Hades, who is Eden’s father, needs Frank’s help with something that requires his expertise. Things get crazy fast and Frank needs to keep himself together to get through it all.

The story is great, I loved reading crime novels and this is a good example why. The characters and the plot just kept me reading and I enjoyed every second of it. As I am putting down crime for a while, I am glad that I picked this fantastic book to be my last and thank Candice Fox for a great read.

I loved the characters, Frank, Eden and Hades were all amazing and I would love to read more about them. The personality of these people made me laugh, frown and almost cry with them.

The plot kept me gripped the whole way through and I was so happy with the outcome. The violence and story are amazing and kept me on the edge of my seat the whole time.

I recommend this book to any crime lover, this book was great and you don’t need to read Candice Fox’s first book, Hades, to understand, it can stand on it owns and hopefully one day I will read Hades and love it just as much.

But that’s all for now.

I’ll write you soon.
